Pair of rare His and Hers (or His and His and Hers and Hers) "Modern Morris Chairs", model Nos. 4731 and 4731A, one with adjustable back and one with fixed back, both with sculpted mahogany frames by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, American 1940's. Newly upholstered by Lobel Modern. The continuous supports are joined with lightweight steel connecting rods. Wormley was a pioneer in the use of laminated woods in furniture and this chair is one of his most important chair designs.
