Hand-blown glass vase with undulating form from the Yokohama Series, blue glass with murrhines and gold foil, by Aldo Nason for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, 1960's. Nason, who trained with Giulio Radi, took his design techniques a step further. His works are less restrained.

Hand blown glass vase with blue glass fragments, iridized with hole in the middle, by Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy 1950's. The visual effects of the glass fragments are quite stunning. In the 1950’s with the sculptures of artists like Henry Moore experimenting with negative space, A.V.E.M. did too with several models and prototypes.

Coffee table "Classical Muses" in engraved and patinated bronze and pewter with painted enamels by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1964 (signed). Comes with original invoice dated July 1, 1964 which states “Special table - Chan #140 shape and size - Classical Muses design”. The table featuring muses was the Classical Table which was square; this was a custom special order in this shape and size.
