Rare and exceptional chest of drawers with artisan shagreen lacquer and brass base and trim by Karl Springer, American 1970's (signed with Karl Springer label on bottom). Karl Springer worked with artists who painstakingly did the shagreen lacquer by hand. It’s a wonderful example of his craftsmanship.
