Pair of Art Deco side chairs in mahogany newly upholstered green sateen with brass sabots by Jules Leleu, France 1940's (numbered on upper legs “15467” and “15468”). These beautifully proportioned chairs are little jewels.

The House of Leleu, Classic French Style for a Modern World 1920-1973 under the direction of Francoise Siriex and published by Hudson Hills Press, on page 55 is a photo of this model chair along with “Dresser no. 3541 for Mr. Zustrassen, 1947”.
