Rare wall sculpture, "Moses on the Mount" holding the Ten Commandments, in patinated bronze and pewter with hand-painted colorful enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “P+K LaVerne” in bottom right corner). Back is covered in green felt. The LaVernes were Jewish and had a deep appreciation for religious and historical iconography of all kinds. The hand-painted colors and the beams of light from the heavens give this work great vibrancy.
