Hand-blown glass vase with silver foil and blue and green murrhines, from the Reazione Policrome Series by Giulio Radi for Arte Vetraria Muranese, Murano Italy, ca 1950. All of these pieces have a jewel-like quality.

AVEM Artistic Production 1932-1972 by Marc Heiremans published by Arnoldsche in 2020, pages 48 through 55 show similar pieces by Giulio Radi with the same technique.

Anzolo Fuga Vase with Glass Fragments, Rods and Murrhines 1960s

Exceptional handblown glass vase with glass fragments, rods and murrhines by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy 1960’s. The pieces with glass fragments are rare and were difficult to execute. This piece has white glass behind the color rods which makes it visually stunning.

Hand-blown glass vase, amethyst with murrhines, zanfirico and gold foil, by Aldo Nason for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, 1960's. The Yokohama Series is one of the most beautiful of the 1960’s.

20th Century Murano Glass: From Craft to Design by Marc Heiremans and published by Arnolsche in 1996, this model with a different green glass is shown on page 179 as “A. VE. M , ALDO NASON, YOKOHAMA.”

Anzolo Fuga Large Hand-Blown "Murrine Incatenate" Glass Vase 1960

Hand-blown glass vase from the Murrine Incatenate Series with red and green murrhines by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, 1960. The soft blue glass of the vase is stunning with the colorful murrhines and yellow rod.

Karl Springer Artisan Hand-Blown Glass Vase with Antiqued Gold Leaf 1980s

Unique large artisan hand-blown glass vase with applied antiqued Italian gold leaf by Seguso (Murano Italy) for Karl Springer, American 1980's. The scale of this piece is very impressive. And this is the only example we have seen with antiqued Italian gold leaf.

Karl Springer Large Artisan Hand Etched Glass Vase 1980s

Large artisan glass vase with abstract etched design by artist Joseph Spohr for Karl Springer, American 1980's. Spohr was a master glass etcher, not only engraving glass but giving it superb variation and depth. He made a handful of special pieces for Karl Springer’s showroom.

Karl Springer Large Hand-Blown White Scavo Glass Vase 1980s

Large hand-blown glass vase, white scavo glass with serpentine coil wrapping around and decorative elements on sides, by Seguso Vetri d’Arte (Murano Italy) for Karl Springer, American 1980's. This form is quite rare. The scale of Springer’s hand-blown glass vases makes them exceptional. Seguso Vetri d’Arte executed Karl Springer’s hand-blown Murano glass pieces which were typically with a scavo finish.

Alessandro Pianon Rare Hand-Blown Glass Bird For Vistosi (Murano) 1963

Rare hand-blown glass bird, Pulcini Series, green with red and blue murrhines with copper feet by Alessandro Pianon for Vistosi, Murano Italy, ca 1963. Pulcini means chicks (baby chickens) in Italian. These birds are both delightful and serious works of art.
