Evan Lobel
Unique bronze sculpture of a woman's torso in an arabesque pose on an black lacquer wood base by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1970's (signed “PK LaVerne” on back of leg). The human form is one of the hardest to sculpt and cast. This work is inspired by dance and ballet. The LaVernes took an interest in all art forms and enjoyed sculpting the human body.
