Philip and Kelvin LaVerne Unique and Important Dining Table 1960s (Signed)

Evan Lobel

Unique and important "Aubusson" dining table with flowing wreath motif in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with hand-painted green and blue enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960’s (Signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on top). This table was designed by Kelvin and was inspired by 18th century French design. It is part of the LaVernes’ Abstract Series. The sculptural legs are dynamic and offer a sense of architecture with their negative space. This is a LaVerne masterpiece.
