"Moment of Truth", a unique studio made hand-brazed base in heavily textured bronze with glass top, by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1970's (signed “Philip & Kelvin LaVerne” on base). This table was created bases on the concept of yin and yang. It is an important LaVerne design.

Dining table No. 819R with two leaves, top in bleached Brazilian rosewood and base in mahogany with brass stretchers, by Harvey Probber, American, 1950s. Table comes with 2 16 inch leaves. Table is 112 inches wide with both leaves and 80 inches long with no leaves. Bleached Brazilian rosewood was a signature Probber wood. It is extremely difficult to bleach rosewood and almost nobody else did it. Harvey Probber was an important 20th century designer. He had his own production facility where he employed master craftsmen.
