Rare and important set of 14 (12 side model VK101, 2 arm model VK101A) dining chairs in walnut with sling seats and tapering legs by Vladimir Kagan, American 1950's.  It is next to  impossible to find a set of 14 of these incredibly rare dining chairs. 

Reference:
The Complete Kagan, a lifetime of avant-garde design by Vladimir Kagan with forward by Tom Ford, published by Pointed Leaf Press in 2004, these chairs are shown on page 110 with the caption “Seeking more refined lines, Kagan        designed a series of side chairs in the late fifties with sling upholstered seats that were  fully framed…”
