Unique Impressionist painting "Last Tango in Paris" in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with enamel cloisonne and original picture light incorporated into the design by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960’s (signed “Philip Kelvin Laverne” on painting - see photo). The hand-brazed sculptured frame that is part of this work adds to its dynamism. The incorporated light in patinated bronze which hangs parallel to the top is fantastic. The LaVernes experimented with asymmetry in several works.
