Kelvin LaVerne” on front). The LaVernes created unique abstract paintings. This one is spectacular. The LaVernes loved nature and it inspired many of their artworks. Pair of rare and exceptional "Classical Plaques" in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with mythological scenes incorporating hand-applied enamels in shades of blue and green by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (one signed “Philip + Kelvin LaVerne” on front). These were created as a complementary pair in a small edition. The coloration of the enamels against the rich bronze background is superb.
