Large wall-hanging framed collage “Hellenic Memories” in patinated and engraved metals with hand-painted enamels with partial figural elements by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1970's (signed “Philip & Kelvin LaVerne”). There are partial Greek figures engraved on both the left and right sides of this work. As Kelvin LaVerne states in regards to this piece, “We wanted to evoke the feeling of an archeological find, a piece of something perhaps broken and shaped by time, capturing time past: history.” This work is unique.
