Superbly crafted illuminated etagere model FM174 in statuary bronze with brass detail and glass shelves by Paul M. Jones, American 1980's. This piece has 3 lights. The doors lock and come with the original keys. As with all Paul M. Jones pieces, this one is beautifully made and finely finished.

Chic 2 door cabinet in ivory lacquer with brass trim by Alain Delon for Maison Jansen, France 1975 (brass label with designer signature inside left door. This cabinet was part of a series by the designer shown at the 1975 Salone del Mobile in Milan. This piece would make an excellent bar cabinet. The proportions and quality are beautiful.

This piece has been re-lacquered in high-gloss white and the brass hardware and studs have been polished and lacquered.  This piece is absolutely stunning.

Paul Evans Sculpted Bronze Wall Unit 1974 (Signed and Dated) - SOLD

Wall unit with 2 pilasters in sculpted bronze resin and smoked glass shelves by Paul Evans, American 1974 (signed "PE 74"). This piece was created from a mixture of epoxy resin and sand applied to a plywood base and sculpted into various swirls, drips and other patterns. Once hardened, the piece was sandblasted, sprayed with an atomized bronze finish, varnished, blown with a torch to provide a smoky look, polished, and then varnished again. The resulting work has a metallic sheen but is lightweight compared with something made of cast bronze. A rare and iconic Paul Evans design.

Rare and important large sculpted bronze wall cabinet with enameled steel elements and 3 cleft slate top pieces by Paul Evans Studio for Direction Furniture, 1969 (signed “PE 69” on bottom). The gray steel elements set into the bronze resin are an incredible color combination. Bronze resin was created from a mixture of epoxy resin and sand applied to a plywood base and sculpted into various swirls, drips and other patterns. Once hardened, the piece was sandblasted, sprayed with an atomized bronze finish, varnished, blown with a torch to provide a smoky look, polished, and then varnished again. Raphael Important Lacquered Credenza With Textured Bronze Doors 1960s - SOLD

Rare and important long credenza, case with parchment color lacquer and accordion doors in unique Beka resin in a volcanic bronze finish with chic brass pulls on glass bases with brass sabots, by Raphael (Raphael Raffel), France 1960s. Keys at bottom lock the doors. Documented pieces by this extraordinary French interior designer and furniture designer are rare. His refined modernist works are among the best.

Raphael decorateur by Guy Bloch-Champfort and published by Les Editions de l’Amateur in 2002, this piece is shown on page 148 with the caption “Endfilade aux portes en accordeon, laque de Beka acaille et laque arrachee, pieds in verre Securit, debut des annes 60. Purchased by the last owner at Galerie L’Art de Vivre in the 1990’s and remained in her Park Ave NYC apartment until purchase by Lobel Modern. Original folder with L’Art de Vivre logo with historical material comes with piece.
