Pair of "Swirl Table Lamps,” model ga120, in ceramic with bronze hardware and sockets by Sirmos, American 1970's. These lamps are super chic and will enhance any space they occupy. The pair have been newly rewired by Lobel Modern with new sockets and silk cords. New lampshades.

Philip and Kelvin LaVerne Rare "Chan Floral" Coffee Table 1950s (Signed)

Rare and early “Chan Floral” coffee table in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with hand-painted blue enamels and lovely botanical motif by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1958-9 (Signed “Phillip K. LaVerne” on top). This table retains its original gallery label which shows Gem Stone Arts, the company where the LaVernes were experimenting with prototypes before the opening of the Philip LaVerne Gallery on East 57th Street in NYC in 1960. We have never seen another one of these tables. The climbing botanical motif is intricate and beautifully hand-colored. The LaVernes experimented with botanical subject matter throughout their collaboration.

Philip and Kelvin LaVerne Rare and Important Sculpture Dining Table 1980s (Signed)

Magnificent and rare “Abstract #1” dining table with 2 hand-brazed abstract sculptures in patinated bronze with a thick glass top by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1980's (engraved “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” in metal and original gallery label on bottom of base). Hand-welding bronze sculptures with full curves and undulations is extremely laborious. These bases have a sense of harmony and can accommodate any size glass top.

Philip and Kelvin LaVerne Magnificent "Odyssey" Coffee Table 1960s (Signed)

Rare and important "Odyssey” Coffee Table in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with vibrant hand-painted enamels and gold and copper leaf atop a Greek column pedestal base by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Kelvin. Philip LaVerne” on top). This table is based on ancient Greek architecture and mythology. In the 1960’s Kelvin went to Greece to sketch ruins. On the left side of the scene is an artist sitting and sketching on the steps of the Erechtheion ruins. Kelvin LaVerne drew himself into the scene for posterity. On the right side is the Parthenon, and Muses stand in the foreground. Kelvin LaVerne wrote a long recollection and description about this piece featured in the book below.

Rare monumental “Regency Extension Dining Table” with 2 matching leaves, top in book-matched Brazilian rosewood with satinwood inlay in high gloss finish with knife edge design, with 2 pedestal bases and solid brass feet by Karl Springer, American 1980's. This table is a testament to the extraordinary artisanship of Karl Springer. It is very large with both leaves in. It is absolutely magnificent.

Karl Springer Unique "Telephone Table" in Chestnut Snake Skin 1980s

Unique prototype “Telephone Table” in chestnut color snake skin with round legs, brass castors, and moiré silk on bottom by Karl Springer, American 1980's. Telephone Tables were typically made with square legs. A small number of prototypes were created for Karl Springer in the 1980s by one of Springer’s master artisans but were never put into production. The fine materials and impressive craftsmanship of this table are classic Springer. This table comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the artisan.
