Important "Wavy Front" dining table in bronzed resin with thick glass top by Paul Evans, American 1970 (signed "PE 70”). This series is very rare and this particular table exemplifies that art that is Paul Evans. This table has not been shown in the market before.

Provenance:
Private Collection, New Jersey, since purchase from the artist’s studio.

Reference:
Paul Evans, Crossing Boundaries and Crafting Modernism by Constance Kimmerle, published by Arnoldsche Art Publishers in 2014, a welded “Wavy Front” Cabinet is shown on pages 164-165. Photos showcase this design though the materials are different.

"Cactus Table"  for dining, entrance way or hall, in clear crystal with frosted glass base and glass top designed by Marc Lalique for Lalique, France in 1951.  This table is signed dated 6-9-1985.

Frosted glass round base bears fitted slots which hold the crystal “leafs”. A chrome circular ring sits atop the crystal supports, which then supports the clear glass circular top. All of the crystal supports are signed and dated “Lalique France”
The flawless design of this iconic table is incredible.
