Rare and early dining table with base and top covered in pie-cut 2-tone embossed leather with solid lucite supports by Karl Springer, American 1970's. This table has been completely restored. The bottom lacquer color is blue and the top lacquer color is white. The meticulous craftsmanship and superb materials are the hallmarks of Karl Springer’s designs.

What makes this table absolutely remarkable is that in the center of the top there is a round focal piece around which the entire table top is constructed - all the pieces on the top are curved and radiate to the edges. The artisanship and materials of this Free Form are superb. The Free Form Tables are among Springer’s most iconic designs.

The LaVernes experimented with various sculptured cube table in patinated bronze. This one retains the original showroom label on the bottom.

Rare and important "Kuan Yin Console Table" in patinated bronze and pewter with hand-painted enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on top). In Chinese Buddhism, Kuan Yin is synonymous with the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the pinnacle of mercy, compassion, kindness and love. The three stunning hand-painted vignettes on the top exemplify these qualities.

Rare and important "Odyssey Coffee Table" in patinated bronze and pewter with hand-painted enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, America 1960's (signed “Kelvin Philip LaVerne”). On the left side, there is an artist sketching on the steps of the Erectheum ruins. Kelvin LaVerne explained to Evan Lobel that he drew himself into the scene. On the right side is the Parthenon. Muses stand in the foreground. This is a superb work of art.
