Lobel Modern, opened in 1998 by Evan Lobel, showcases furniture, lighting, hand-blown glass and art by important designers from the 1940's thru the 1980's. Located in the Four Points section of lower Manhattan.

Rare rectangular "Etruscan Spiral" coffee table, in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter by Phillip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on front side). Rare pair of artisan "Oval Metal Table Lamps" in polished chrome with custom matching shades by Karl Springer, American 1980's (signed “Karl Springer” on metal label inside shade). These lamps were made by the best metal artists and are absolutely spectacular. Shades have been seamlessly hand-welded. We have never seen another pair of these lamps.
