Set of 4 high back game/dining chairs in high gloss black lacquer with bone inlays at top in the style of Karl Springer, custom design, American 1980's. These chairs are modeled on Karl Springer’s JMF Chair, with its curved seat and back. The seat is designed so it could take a cushion if desired. These chairs have been newly relacquered by Lobel Modern and are in like-new condition. They are super chic.

Large abstract painting in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with hand-applied enamels of subtle coloration by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne on bottom right). Sides are trimmed in bronze. Philip and Kelvin LaVerne did a small series of unique abstract paintings which hung in their gallery until they were sold. Only a handful were ever made. This work is exceptional in every way.

Pair of rare and large "Classical Plaques" in deeply patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with enamel cloisonne by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip + Kelvin LaVerne” on front).
These were done as a complementary pair in a small edition. The scale and forms are stunning.

The interior is lacquered red and the shelves are trimmed in patinated bronze. A drawer on the left side of the interior is beautifully finished as only the LaVernes could do. This piece is a Shown in the environmental photo with an extremely rare LaVerne mirror.
