Exceptional pair of "Lo Ta Hexagonal Cube" tables, with sides in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with vibrant orange, blue, and green hand-painted enamels and torched bronze effect tops by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip + Kelvin LaVerne” and “PK LaVerne” on side of each). Because of the unique shapes of these pieces, they cross over into sculpture. These are both in excellent condition with wonderful coloration.

Stunning and iconic “Chan” painting in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with vibrant blue, green and orange hand-painted enamels and gold and copper leaf by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960s (signed “Philip. Kelvin LaVerne” on front). The Chinese scene depicted in this series is captivating, and the coloration of this piece is superb.

We see peasants carrying a sacred gift to the Emperor’s child. Delicately wrought leaves and figures, combine with a rich variety of multicolored patinas to create the Chinoiserie top. The design is credited as inspiring and evoking French and English periods of furniture.”

Philip & Kelvin LaVerne "Kuan Su" Bronze Painting 1960s (Signed) - SOLD

"Kuan Su" painting in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with hand-applied blue enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “P+K LaVerne” on bottom of frame). This design incorporates the Kuan (interlocking circles) motif which is supposed to evoke something from the past. It’s a beautiful work of art.

Rare "Viola" coffee table, in patinated and pierced bronze and pewter with hand-painted enamels and glass top by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960s. Signed on top by “Philip Kelvin LaVerne”. The negative space was cut out by Kelvin’s hand. The shadows cast from this musically inspired coffee table are supposed to represent notes floating through the air. The glass top is an integral part of the design of the table. The hand-cut fretwork is truly a marvel.

Unique Impressionist painting "Last Tango in Paris" in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with enamel cloisonne, sculptured bronze frame and original picture light incorporated into the design by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960’s (signed “Philip Kelvin Laverne” on painting - see photo). The hand-brazed sculptured frame that is part of this work adds to its dynamism. The incorporated light in patinated bronze which hangs parallel to the top is fantastic. The LaVernes experimented with asymmetry in several works.

The interior has mirrored panels and includes two glass shelves and the original light at back of the bottom shelf. Below are two drawers and a bottom cabinet with four compartments. Anzolo Fuga Large and Stunning Hand-Blown Glass "Spots" Vase 1956

Exceptional large and rare hand-blown "Spots" vase model 13522 in white glass with translucent colorful sections in front and back in green, blue, yellow, and red and bicolor spots on the sides in brown and deep red by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, 1956. The artisanship and complexity of this large work are incredible. Anzolo Fuga was the master stained glass maker on the island of Murano in the mid 20th century. His glass designs sometimes incorporate colorful glass windows within them which showcase their innate beauty.

Anzolo Fuga Rare and Large Hand-Blown Glass "Bandiere" Vase with Vibrant Colors 1955-58

Large and rare "Bandiere" vase, hand-blown with orange, yellow, blue, white, green and clear colors all around with hole in the center by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, 1955-58. Bandiere in Italian means flag. This refers to the way the glass rods laid out flat in a tray before this piece was blown. The scale and vibrancy of this vase give it an impactful visual presence. The execution is superb.
